Michel was born in Maastricht in Holland, Culinary Capital of Limburg. After his Chef's training he worked in Hostellerie de Hamert, a prestigious Michelin Star Hotel in Wellerlooi. In 1985 Michel moved to London for 7 years working in the Savoy Hotel, Meridian Hotel, The Hilton Park Lane, Whites Hotel and Halcyon hotel to name a few.
Michel then started his quest for using the finest foods throughout Britain. First to Scotland for 4 years then Devon for 5 years followed by Shropshire for the past 11 years of which the last 8 years here at The Albright Hussey Manor Hotel.
